Rustic Is The New Classic

Large Latte in one hand, scissors in the other and you are ready to conquer the endless pile of bridal magazines in search for inspiration. Planning your wedding can be or in a sense will be the biggest personal accomplishment of your life, you bring your dreams to life and even invite your nearest and dearest to experience it with you.

Lets talk about themes, yes this will be the first thing on the agenda when planning the big day Ladies and if your as indecisive as me it will also be the most time consuming. Once you have your theme it creates a domino effect to all other planning areas, it gives you a light to follow and narrows down the decision making.

2015 seems to be the year of the “Vintage/ Rustic Wedding” and I truly hope this carry’s through till 2025. How can you not fall in love with the endless rows of baby’s breath, Hunter Valley Hills, little white chapels, flower crowns and naked cakes. The theme carry’s endless possibilities with the added (and probably most important) advantage of not breaking the bank, with leaving money for the more important things, like your honey moon cocktail tab.

Here are some of my little personal picks to help bring your Vintage/ Rustic theme to life:

1. These natural timber inspired centre pieces are at the top of my list. 3. Speaking of wedding favours and bomboniere, nothing says love more than literally the word love, oh and of course chocolate. These gifts are not only super cute but also very practical, the chocolate will most defiantly be eaten on the drive home and the bottle opener, I have no doubt.
